Here is the photo set from the Forrest-Streight Trail featuring the Crooked Creek Civil War Battleground and Museum located in Vinemont, Alabama (almost a subdivision of Cullman, AL).  I followed the Forrest-Streight trail starting in the community of Battleground, Alabama on through to West Point. Vinemont, Hog Mountain and finishing up in Blountsville.  The trail went on but we had to leave it since it was the end of our day.

Crooked Creek Civil War Museum & Park is the battle site of the Confederate Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest and Union Col. Abel Streight fought for several hours on April 30, 1863 at Crossing of Crooked Creek & Hog Mountain.
