(April 2010) Enlarge C.S.A. Memorial & The Pigeon House: The structure near the Confederate Soldier Monument, now used as a storage area is known as the "Spring House." This name came from the old practice of having band concerts and Memorial Day programs there each Spring. It is also known as the "Pigeon House," because of the many birds roosting in it's gables. The gables are designed as bird houses which have now been closed off from entry to preserve the building

(April 2010) Enlarge Civil War Memorials & Graves: This area is known in the cemetery as the Confederate Circle Monument. Notice the graves of soldiers are to the south of the monument and the cannons point toward the north, forever protecting the brave men who died for their cause
