joined the Army of the Confederate States 19 Mar 1862 in Sylvania Ga.. He
was a private In Company D, 47th Infantry Regiment. He was put on special
detail as a courier for General Stovall. Wounded at Missionary Ridge and
again at Coosahatchie, S.C. Discharged Jul 1863 at Greensboro, S.C |
