John C. Weaver was born January 14, 1838 in Monroe County, Tennessee. Enlisted in the 60th Georgia infantry at Calhoun, Georgia, June 15, 1862. Captured at Fredericksburg, December 13, 1862 and later exchanged. Died November 13, 1863 at Lynchburg general hospital #3
