Church, Bryantown, MD. Dr. Samuel Mudd is buried here. Dr. Mudd was
introduced to John Wilkes Booth here one year prior to the assassination of
Lincoln. Booth was in town looking for people to help with the proposed
kidnapping of the president. The day after treating Booth, Mudd went to this
same church and told a relative of two strange men who had called |
