(2010) Enlarge Little Round House Photo: The Little Round House, or Jason's Shrine as it is also known by, is the only Civil War era military structure remaining on the University of Alabama campus. It is believed that some of the UA Cadets captured one of Croxton's men by the name of Jason and beat him to death inside this building. There are stories on campus about the ghosts of dead Yankees being seen inside the building at night. The large building directly behind it is the Amelia Gayle Gorgas Library. The Rotunda building would have been seen directly behind the Little Round House during the Civil War
