One of the most impressive monuments at Gettysburg is the Soldier's Monument located in the National Cemetery on the spot where Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address. Erected in 1869, the ravages of time and weather are also taking a toll on this monument. The effects of the freeze/thaw of winter are displacing the marble components

The monument to The Gettysburg Address is located in the National Cemetery, and is the only monument ever erected to honor a speech

Monument to General Frances Barlow on Barlow Knoll. The story of General Barlow and General Gordon is well known and is one of the many pieces of folklore of Gettysburg
