The Monument to the 20th Maine, marking the extreme left of the Army of The Potomac |
Hazlett's Battery at the summit of Little Round Top. Wrestling his 10-pdr Parrott rifles up the rear slope of Little Round Top, Hazlett provided much-needed artillery support to the New York, Pennsylvania, and Maine troops trying to hold the position. Before it was all over, Hazlett would be among the killed in action |

Devil's Den and Plum Run Valley (also called The Valley of Death) as seen from the summit of Little Round Top. The absence of grass and underbrush shows the rocky nature of the terrain |
