Fort Washita Historic Site, 3348 State Road 199, Durant, OK 74701-8503, (580) 924-6502. Fort Washita is located 15 miles northwest of Durant, and 15 miles east of Madill, on SH-199. Fort Washita is open Monday through Saturday 9 am to 4:30 pm and 1 pm to 5 pm on Sunday. Closed on major State/Federal holidays. |
