This diorama located inside the visitor center of the Louisiana State Park devoted to the siege of Port Hudson was impossible to photograph in just one snapshot. This is a view looking from Confederate defenses towards the Union approach. An "N" scale railroad car can be seen, which depicts the location of the railroad as a point of reference
