(4-03) Memorial to the men of Tioga County, NY who fought for the Union.  Located outside the Tioga County Courthouse in Owego, NY, the monument was erected in 1880.  The band around the upper portion of the column reads Gettysburg; the band around the lower portion is inscribed Appomattox
