Fort St. Phillip. Same section as previous view, but from a different approach. This view is of the outer bastion at right of Bayou Mardi Gras, facing south. Follow the high ground at right of the 1898 gun emplacement to the pole with the white top. The bastion veers toward the upper right of the picture. Remains of an 1862 bombproof are in the thicket at right.
