(10-02) Confederate Cemetery at Resaca. The cemetery is next to the railroad where Hood's right flank touched it. After the battle, Miss Mary Green, a local woman, organized the burial of soldiers killed in the battle at Resaca in this cemetery. There are 421 unknown Confederate soldiers buried here
