(3-01) Remains of Fort Pemberton parallel to the Tallahatchie River

(3-01) The only remaining Indian mound between Fort Pemberton and Race Track Plantation. During the war there were approximately 40 mounds. Union troops camped on the mounds to avoid high water from the Tallahatchie River
